OTHER INFORMATION

Sustainability
  • Jewelry is created from metal sourced from local foundries that work with refined metals from pawn shops and client gold.
  • All stones are conflict-free.
  • As we don’t work with factories, we don’t produce more jewelry than we can sell. Unsold old collections and client metal are recycled.

Design Inspiration and Creation Requests

We respect the originality of other designers and do not replicate their work. However, we're happy to take inspiration from design elements you admire. Our designers will use these as a basis to craft a distinct and original piece tailored to your tastes.

Design Rights for Custom Pieces
  • Belong to the jeweler. They have the right to reproduce the design, as it’s their creative work.
  • If a jeweler agrees to work on your exact design without future reproduction rights, a higher fee may be requested. But if you expect that your design should not be used further in the jeweler's work, you must agree on this beforehand. Otherwise, the jeweler has the right to continue using this design as their art work.

Silver Coating - Pros and Cons

Types of Coatings: Silver jewelry can be enhanced with various types of coatings, such as rhodium plating (rhodium-plated), gilding, and gold plating (gold-coated). These treatments are used to improve the appearance and durability of the silver.

Advantages:

  • Aesthetic Appeal: Coatings like rhodium or gold plating add a beautiful, lustrous finish to silver jewelry, making them more attractive, especially for display purposes.
  • Imitation of White Gold: Rhodium plating on silver can mimic the look of white gold at a fraction of the cost, offering a luxurious appearance.
  • Hypoallergenic Properties: For those with sensitive skin or metal allergies, coatings can act as a barrier, reducing the likelihood of allergic reactions.

Disadvantages:

  • Durability Issues: Over time, these coatings can wear off, leading to the appearance of spots or uneven color.
  • Maintenance Requirements: Coated silver jewelry requires regular maintenance and re-plating to preserve its appearance, which can be both costly and inconvenient.

While coatings can enhance the beauty and hypoallergenic properties of silver jewelry, they do come with drawbacks in terms of longevity and maintenance. Understanding these pros and cons can help customers make informed decisions about their jewelry purchases and care.
